All Kinds is a place for observations, opinions, questions, and the occasional irreverence.

The subjects will vary. Politics, science, technology, economics, history, philosophy, culture, and whatever else happens to catch my interest. Some pieces will be serious, others less so. Some will be personal. There may even be a little fiction.

I don’t have a particular ideology to promote, an institution to defend, or a conventional wisdom to uphold. I do have opinions, and I intend to express them. I also reserve the right to change them when the evidence warrants it.

About the Author

I’m Keith Blackwell, a technology entrepreneur, business executive, husband, father of four daughters, and grandfather. I own Airedales. I’m a cat person.

I’ve spent much of my professional life building and running companies. Along the way, I’ve developed an interest in a good many subjects having little to do with business. I believe in free speech, distrust mindless conformity, and generally prefer people who think for themselves.
